The arrest of her husband has been devastating to Emily. Many parents of students at the "Karate For Kids" studio in North Royalton told us they support Emily completely. "We are like a family here", said Lisa Greco. "
A lot of parents know other parents. And we all know and love Emily. She doesn't deserve this." Another parent, Joanne Moore, said, "we just need to center on Emily and center on the school.
This school has always given so much to our kids." Rob Mernon and his wife, Charlotte, said they would do everything possible to help Emily get past this horrible chapter in her life. Said Rob, "Emily is an amazing instructor and friend. She has been basically in charge of the teaching our kids. She's part of our family now."
On September 26th, the FBI and Brunswick police confiscated six computers located inside the Gray home in Brunswick. "Karate For Kids" instructor, Sarah Fox, said, "it's like the wind got knocked out of me and it's hitting me in my heart. My heart is at this school because it has been such a special place. "
Nearby, Emily Gray, tried to smile through her tears as she listened to the outpouring of support. "I truly appreciate that they're supporting me", said Emily, "because this is such a trying time for me and for my baby son."
Emily Gray says that she plans to keep the school open while she looks for a divorce attorney. Gary Scott Gray will appear in Parma Municipal Court on Monday morning. His bond is currently set at two million dollars.
